Nat-Gas Prices Jump on a Smaller-Than-Expected Build in EIA Inventories

June Nymex natural gas (NGM24) on Thursday closed up by +0.114 (+5.21%).

June nat-gas prices on Thursday rallied sharply to a 3-1/2 month nearest-futures high.  A smaller-than-expected build in weekly nat gas supplies pushed prices sharply higher.  The EIA reported Thursday that nat-gas inventories for the week ended May 3 rose +79 bcf, below expectations of +86 bcf.
