Nashik: Jalkhed village residents demand measures to prevent accidents on Peth highway

NASHIK: People residing in Jalkhed village located between Umrale and Golashi Phata on the Peth Road are worried about the rising number of road fatalities on the Nashik Peth highway.

They have written to various departments to look into the issue and take measures to prevent the accidents. The Nashik-Peth Road has been strengthened and concretized, due to which motorists tend to increase the speed of their vehicles. This leads to a large number of road fatalities.
