Napoli chief 'furious' with Kalidou Koulibaly decision as star agrees Chelsea personal terms

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is ‘furious’ with Kalidou Koulibaly and his agent Fali Ramadani after the centre-back rejected a contract extension with the club.

Koulibaly’s contract at the Stadio Maradona runs out in June 2023 but the defender seems to have accepted a move to Chelsea instead of re-signing with the Serie A outfit.

Chelsea have been looking to strengthen at centre-back for quite some time. After losing Antonio Rudiger to Real Madrid and Andreas Christensen to Barcelona - both on free transfers - Thomas Tuchel needs to add at least two defenders this window.
