Naouirou Ahamada has signed for Crystal Palace from VfB Stuttgart on transfer deadline day, subject to international clearance.
Reports on Monday evening suggested that a €12million (£10.5million) fee had been agreed between the two clubs for the French youth international who is said to have agreed personal terms with Palace. The Daily Mail claimed that Ahamada would join on a three-and-a-half year contract, with the option of a further two years.
And the move has since been made official on January 31, with chairman Steve Parish saying: "“We are delighted to welcome Naouirou to Crystal Palace. Having already played in three different countries, Naouirou has shown an impressive ability to adapt to new challenges and deliver strong performances in a top league. We feel that his profile, skillset and character make him an ideal fit for Crystal Palace and the demands that await for him in the Premier League.”

On the move, Ahamada added that he wants to work hard both in games and on the training pitch to 'help the team'.
“I’m very happy to have joined this club. It is an amazing club, and I’m very excited to get started," he said. “I want to show my quality, and I want to help this team with my quality. I want to play games, work hard, train hard and progress, and help the team.”
Ahamada initially joined Stuttgart on loan from Italian giants Juventus in October 2020 before making the move to Germany permanent the following summer.
The 20-year-old has played 18 times for the Bundesliga side this season, scoring two goals and providing two assists. He was sent off in the last game he featured for Stuttgart against Hoffenheim last Tuesday (January 24) with Ahamada missing the trip to RB Leipzig on Friday.
