Nantucket Mansion Demolition Plan: $19.2m home may be razed; neighbour decries teardowns

A newly constructed waterfront mansion on Nantucket could be headed for the wrecking ball soon after it changed hands. Sold for $19.2 million in November 2023, the home became the subject of a demolition proposal in 2024, according to the NY Post. Steven Cohen, identified as the buyer by NY Post, became the owner of the six-bedroom home through a blind trust in November 2023.
