A new leak suggests the upcoming Nano Banana 2 model could bring serious improvements to Google’s image generation tools. We’re talking native 2K images, 4K upscaling and a multi-stage process designed to reduce visual blemishes and boost more realistic images.
The leak surfaced on X and outlines what appears to be a major update to Google’s image generation pipeline — possibly nicknamed “Gempix.”
If the leak is accurate, this model might offer more polished, usable results. In fact, the output could be ideal for social content, marketing visuals and creative projects.
