Culture Secretary Lisa Nandy has called on the BBC to "renew its mission for the modern age" as it seeks to rebuild public trust following the resignation of director-general Tim Davie.
Ms Nandy said that the upcoming once-a-decade review of BBC’s charter would ensure a broadcaster that is "fiercely independent" and "genuinely accountable" to the public.
