Nando's launches first ever student discount in time for January exams

Nando's is offering 20% off to students during exam season in a limited time discount.

The restaurant's first ever student discount, labelled the Extra-Hot, is valid between 11.30am to 5pm, Monday to Wednesday. As January exams loom, Nando's is offering respite via its famous Peri-Peri chicken.

Nando's say it is "inviting students to trade in the books for some spice." The chain added: "The discount is offering an Extra-Hot 20% off between 11:30am - 5pm from Monday to Wednesday - perfect for PERi-PERi lovers who need to fuel up between classes."

This is the chicken chain's latest appeal to young people. Last August saw the return of Results Day Dash, where Nando's offered free chicken to all students celebrating their exam results.

Nando's added: "The launch of Nando’s Student Discount is the latest commitment from the iconic chicken chain to support its loyal student fanbase."

To access the discount, students over 16 need to sign up online from January 9 and verify using their student email. From there, they can redeem the 20% on their menu favourites to eat in at any Nando's restaurant.

Alongside the new student offer, Nando’s has just announced the return of the VUSA XX HOT spice level. This is part of the newly launched 2023 menu, with a new spiced chickpea recipe. Nando’s Student Discount is running throughout the UK and Ireland from January 9 for a limited time.
