Savannah Guthrie's decision to unveil a £790,000 reward for information leading to her mother Nancy's return was announced from New York on Feb. 24, but according to reporter Michael Ruiz, the Nancy Guthrie update many people did not see was that the broadcaster had actually attempted to offer the money weeks earlier, soon after the 84‑year‑old vanished from her Arizona home on Jan. 31.
