Two ransom notes linked to the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the 84‑year‑old mother of Today show host Savannah Guthrie, have been thrust back into public view in Arizona and across the US.
The letters, released by the Pima County Sheriff's Department on 31 July, were sent to a Tucson television station in early February, shortly after Nancy was reported missing from her home in the Catalina Foothills near Tucson.
