A fresh 'community alert' from the Pima County Sheriff's Department in Arizona has refocused attention on the Nancy Guthrie case, five months after the 84‑year‑old disappeared from her Tucson‑area home.

The alert, issued on Wednesday, 8 July, related to a shooting on West Mohawk Drive, where a man suffered non‑life‑threatening injuries, according to the Sheriff's Office.
