Nearly eight months after the mysterious disappearance of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie from her Tucson home, a retired FBI agent has suggested that a high-profile television broadcast may have inadvertently helped target her.

Speaking with NewsNation senior national correspondent Brian Entin on 28 September, former federal investigator Steve Moore claimed that Savannah Guthrie's televised Today show homecoming segment, filmed on 17 October 2025 and aired on 5 November, had timing too coincidental to ignore.
