Nancy Guthrie's quiet neighbourhood in Pima County has become the centre of intense scrutiny after a neighbour reported seeing a suspicious man near her home just weeks before she vanished. The witness described the man as wearing a baseball cap pulled low and straight clothes, moving slowly while looking around in a way that immediately stood out.
According to the neighbour, she first saw the man in mid-January, almost three weeks before Nancy went missing on 1 February, and she was so concerned that she later spoke directly with the FBI.
