Nan's warning to dog owners after trip to the beach

A nan wants to warn dog owners to be on the lookout after she spotted a venomous snake at a popular beach.

Deana Brown came across an adder slithering across the beach at Porth Neigwl, also known as Hells Mouth, near Abersoch in North Wales on bank holiday Monday. Deana's teenage grandson, Charlie Mullard, managed to catch the snake on camera as it headed back towards the dunes.

Sharing a warning on social media, Deana said: “Hopefully it can stop a dog or a child being bitten. Just be careful.”
