A nan is 'terrified' of rising energy costs after bailiffs arrived at her house over a £5,000 gas bill.
Clarice Brown, 80, from Gateacre can't sleep at night in fear of her future energy bills as the price cap is set to increase .The widow lives on her own and received the bill five years ago, shortly after losing her husband James Stanley. He died aged 81 from fibrosis of the lung.
Clarice has tried to call Scottish Power to find out why she is in so much debt but says they wont give her an answer. Five years on, her issue is still not resolved and she has no way to pay her gas bill.
