Namdev Shirgaonkar elected unopposed as India Taekwondo chief

MUMBAI: Namdev Shirgaonkar was elected unopposed as the president of the executive committee of India Taekwondo in the election of the body on Sunday. The election was attended by 25 affiliated state associations.

All the office-bearers were elected unopposed. Bhagwatrao Gaikwad (Retired judge) was the Returning Officer in tandem with Sharad D Madakre (Retired Deputy Charity Commissioner).
