ASI Archaeological Survey of India Delhi High Court Delhi Waqf Board Mosque Mehrauli New Delhi

NEW DELHI: Delhi High Court on Thursday granted time to the Centre and Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) to place their stand on a plea by Delhi Waqf Board claiming that prayers have been stopped at a Mughal-era mosque near Qutub Minar in Mehrauli.

Justice Manoj Kumar Ohri was informed by the counsel for the Centre and ASI that they would take instructions on the issue following which the court listed the matter for further hearing on July 25.
