Channel 4’s sexed-up show Naked Attraction has stormed TV for the past few years and often makes headlines for its raunchy format.
Hosted by Anna Richardson, the jaw-dropping show sees a singleton faced with six naked people who are initially hidden in an array of colourful booths.
Their bodies and faces are gradually revealed through successive rounds, from the feet up, until they are stood fully naked in front of their prospective partner who will then choose to take them on a date – where they’ll see each other in clothes for the first time.
The show is certainly not for the faint-hearted or prudish, with contestants often causing a stir and even at times provoking fans to call for the show to be cancelled.
Here are the rudest moments on Naked Attraction, from rude rejection to contestant ‘arousal’
Male contestant gets 'aroused'
Naked Attraction viewers were left in hysterics when a man picked for a date got a bit excited at the prospect.
Kelly, 27, stepped up to the podium to examine the lower halves of three men and three women and take her pick.
And after some deliberation and back-and-forth with Anna, Kelly settled on Adam... who seemed to get a bit aroused on camera.
"Wonder how many times they had to stop filming when the angle of his semi changed too much," one viewer laughed.
Anna previously told of how a man had once had to be escorted off-set by a crew member after getting an erection during filming.
Anna Richardson told the Andy Jaye Podcast: "We did have a couple of seasons ago, there was a young man who I think might have been in the pink pod and he was getting a little bit excited about what was about to happen.
"So our lovely floor manager, Dave the floor manager, had to go “come on” and just had to escort him off the floor for a little while, just to calm down.
"And then he was brought back onto set.
'Rude' reaction to rejection
Naked Attraction viewers were not impressed with one contestant's reaction to not being chosen as Nameya's date.
Nameya had six men to choose from and whittled it down until she had two men and two women left.
Making the difficult decision to send one man named Leon home, he surprisingly didn't seem too bothered about being rejected.
Speaking to the camera backstage he said: “It's one of them. You win some, you lose some but there’s plenty more cl***e in the sea.
Virgin passes out
Brian, 23, admitted his fear of sex to host Anna Richardson when he appeared on this show, saying: "I’ve always wondered what’s wrong with me. I had half a lap dance, but avoided looking at the bottom part."
As the ladies’ were revealed, Brian appeared to grimace, with Anna noting it looked rather pale in response.
He replied: "I need a moment" and the contestant could then be heard off-screen saying the reveal was a bit too much to handle.
He said: "It is overwhelming, perhaps in a good way. I needed this, but it just needs to sink in."
Child star’s tantrum
Former child genius Lauren Harries furiously walked off the show in 2019 despite appearing on the programme to look for love.
But the ex-antiques expert was rejected by picker Rigby due to her age, leaving Lauren furious.
He explained: "I am looking for someone to be with permanently and I just think you might be a little bit too old for me."
Lauren said: “You will be slapping yourself when you know who I am."
Randy church-going Judith shocks parishioners
Churchgoer Judith, 57, appeared on the controversial show in 2019 and didn’t shy away from her devout religion, treating her love interests to a rendition of the hymn The Lord Is My Shepherd.
She then offered them a cake she had baked ahead of her appearance, saying: “I've not been lucky in love. Two years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was very scary. And now I'm ready to embrace life in full.
“Naked Attraction I need your help. Adam and Eve found love in the garden of Eden, and they were naked, so now it's my turn!”
Sadly, her date Doug, 51, ghosted her after six weeks of dating.
First date turns ugly
Taunton taxi driver Andy Snook, 62, stripped down to clinch a date with 43-year-old admin clerk Cathy.
While their first romantic foray seemed to go well, the pair had an epic fallout later down the line.
Producers quizzed them in an awkward segment at the end of the show, in which Cathy said she felt Andy was making excuses not to see her during their reunion interview.
Soon they started bickering and Cathy branded Andy an “idiot” and a “liar”.
