A nail salon has left Instagram users horrified after sharing a bizarre new manicure – featuring a popping spot.
Nail Sunny, which has 16 stores across the globe, has come under fire once again for another peculiar creation.
In the clip, which has racked up 572,000 views and over 4,000 likes, a manicurist squeezes the client’s spotty and yellow nail, as fake pus oozes out.
They show the process, firstly filing down the original nail which was designed with a light pink shade and white tips.
After swirling glue on top, a piece of plastic film is placed, before injecting it with a shade of yellow.
Finally, they paint over with a beige tone, adding texture with each stroke and finish off with including a realistic spot and flecks of blood in the centre.
Users have flocked to the comments to share their reactions, with many left horrified.
“I am horrified on a new level,” Athena said.
Ann added: “Jesus the world gone crazy.” [sic]
“Y’all crossed the line, this ain’t even creativity anymore,” Karla commented.
Someone else said: “What the hell is that??! That’s disgusting!!!” followed by a sick face and thumbs down emoji.
“Ah hell no,” Dayana added.
The controversial salon has previously made headlines for a series of baffling looks, including the use of dead shrimp, lactating boobs and another featuring tequila and edible food.
Last year, the Russian-based salon sparked controversy after posting a video of a manicure featuring tortilla wraps and tequila.
In a video shared on Nail Sunny's Instagram page, a manicurist can be seen applying what appears to be strips of tortilla wraps to one nail before garnishing it with some fresh herbs. Yummy?
Next, she paints another nail white before coating it in salt to later be used as an accompaniment to the tequila.
Another manicure featured a live ant trapped inside each nail and while the salon later said the ants were released, many people accused them of animal cruelty.
One person wrote: "This is absolutely disgusting, you should be ashamed of yourself. Any nail technicians I know would NEVER dream of doing anything as ridiculous as this. The poor ants suffer for no reason, the nails look horrid!"
Another said: "What is the fashion for mistreatment of animals? Is the author of the nails or the girl who wears them want to die in a small room slowly choking?
"What is happening now is beyond anything. Whether it's an ant, dog, cat or any other animal. What you have done is mistreatment of the animals, you are sick."
One follower commented: "As they were deprived from oxygen and forced in a small space? This is cruel!"
