Nail Artist's Rs 10 Lakh Monthly Income Funds Early Retirement Dream

A Passion That Began in Vietnam

Fullah's journey into the world of nail art started more than 12 years ago in Vietnam, where she developed expertise in intricate 3D nail designs. Her creations, featuring handcrafted flowers, animals, charms, and other detailed embellishments, quickly became her signature style and helped her build a strong reputation.

Six years ago, she moved to Dubai in search of better opportunities. Like many newcomers, she started with a modest salary, working under a two-year contract at a small salon for just Dh3,500 (around Rs 82,000) per month. Although the pay was limited, the experience gave her valuable exposure to Dubai's beauty industry and helped her establish a loyal customer base.

Freelancing Changed Everything

After completing her contract, Fullah took a bold step by becoming a freelance nail artist. The decision proved life-changing.

Working without taking a single day off, she steadily built a large clientele, particularly among younger customers who appreciated her highly detailed nail art at affordable prices. As demand for her services grew, so did her earnings.

Before opening her own salon, she was reportedly earning between **Dh30,000 and Dh40,000 every month**, equivalent to approximately **Rs 7 lakh to Rs 10 lakh**, making her one of the city's successful independent nail artists.

Opening Her Own Salon

In June 2026, Fullah achieved another major milestone by launching **Beauty by Fullah** in Dubai's Jumeirah Village Circle.

Instead of drawing a salary from the business immediately, she chose to reinvest all of the salon's earnings into its growth. She expects to start paying herself again after a few months, once the business is firmly established.

Her long-term vision extends beyond a single salon. She hopes to hire more professionals and eventually expand the brand with multiple branches across the UAE, including cities such as Abu Dhabi and Fujairah.

Smart Financial Planning Behind the Success

Fullah's impressive earnings are matched by her disciplined financial habits.

Despite earning a substantial income, she keeps her personal expenses relatively low. She spends about **Dh1,000 a month on food** and around **Dh5,000 on rent and petrol**. Before moving into her own studio apartment, she even shared accommodation with a friend to reduce costs.

She also sends approximately **Dh5,000 every month to Vietnam**, where she invests in property. Over the years, she has purchased two houses, choosing to build long-term assets instead of spending extravagantly.

A Dream of Early Retirement

Unlike many entrepreneurs focused solely on expanding their businesses, Fullah already has a clear retirement plan.

She hopes to retire in about 20 years, when she will be in her early 50s. By then, she aims to generate passive income through multiple salon branches and property investments.

Sharing her vision with *The National*, Fullah said she wants to continue investing, open around five salon branches across the UAE, and purchase more houses in Vietnam. Ultimately, she dreams of settling on a farm surrounded by animals and nature, growing her own vegetables and enjoying a peaceful life away from the hustle of business.

Her journey highlights how dedication, continuous learning, disciplined financial planning, and a willingness to take risks can transform a creative skill into a highly successful and sustainable career.
