NAGPUR: Divya Deshmukh chose Sharjah, famous for its deserts, to end her title drought on Wednesday.

Seven months after winning the elite women's rapid crown, the 18-year-old Asian champion proved her mettle in the classical format by conquering the Sharjah Challengers chess title.
