Nagpur: PWD to shift electric infra at Zingabai Takli under ground

NAGPUR: The state’s public works department (PWD) is all set to shift electric infrastructure standing on Zingabai Takli-Godhani Road under ground. A private contractor has been shortlisted for the work.

PWD superintending engineer (electrical) Hemant Patil told TOI that the work order has been issued on Friday. “Though the deadline is for one year, we will try to finish the work in five months. The underground electric infrastructure should be maintenance free for 20 years,” he said.
