Nagpur: Over 22,000 more unauthorized plots crop up in two decades

NAGPUR: Unauthorized layouts, plots and buildings continue to crop up in the city. The Nagpur Improvement Trust (NIT) received 26,545 applications seeking regularization of 21,701 unauthorized plots.

As per the NIT data, the most number of applications (8,507) for regularization of 7,047 unauthorized plots came from east division followed by 6,959 for 5,507 from south division.
