Nadia Sawalha 'never reads about herself' before going on Loose Women amid feud rumours

Loose Women’s Nadia Sawalha has said that she advises new panellists to “never read anything” before a show amid rumours of a feud between the chatty ladies on the ITV show.

This comes after rumours emerged claiming that panellists, including Stacey Solomon, 32, and Nadia, 57, refused to appear on the ITV show if Coleen Nolan, 56, was due to be on the panel.

While Coleen has continued to deny the rumours, speculation about an ongoing feud between the Loose Women ladies is still rife - despite the fact that Stacey, Janet Street-Porter and Brenda Edwards have spoken out in Coleen's defence.

Nadia has now told The Mirror that she has a personal policy of never reading “anything” the day she’s on the show and has advised newbie panellists to do the same “because it will affect you”.

She said: “What you want to do is you want to be totally free. So no, those that mind don't matter and those that matter don't mind. That is my mantra. It's what I teach my kids.

“If I get trolled, if I get anything like that, I just think, would I go out there now and ask the person at the bus stop what they think of me and then take it to heart and go in and really worry about and keep myself up at night? No.

“I know myself pretty well and what somebody I don't know says about me doesn't doesn't do anything to me.”

Nadia is married to husband Mark and shares two children with him - daughters Maddie and Kiki - all of whom now star in their own YouTube channel discussing everything from film reviews to mental health.

Nadia has previously opened up about her husband Mark’s mental health and addiction struggles and says they have established a “system” that works well for them to cope with it.

She said: “We eat really well, we exercise to make us feel better - not to look better - looking better is a side effect of exercise. The first effect is it is a drug for me for my mental health.

“I talk to my kids about mental health in exactly the same way I talk to them about their physical health. What have you done for your mental health? How are you releasing your stress? What are you doing with your anxiety?”

From yoga and running to walks and lifting weights, Nadia says she’s very active which is paired with being a “naturally cup is half full person”.

She said: “I've been blessed with that. I'm rich beyond my wildest dreams because I've been born with good mental health.

“I'm one of those people that wakes up and I'm happy, so I have that as a bonus that lots of people don't have and I'm always mindful of that.

“I live with somebody who lives with depression and it's an incredibly tough, tough, tough thing. I suppose he's made me grateful that I don't - which doesn't mean I don't get down or anxious.

“Everyone's mental health has suffered but for me exercise is just vital.”
