The National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (Nabfid) has sanctioned loans of more than Rs 3,000 crore each to at least four data centres, underscoring the growing financing needs of India's push to build artificial intelligence infrastructure.
The state-run infrastructure financier expects data centres to remain a key source of demand for long-term project financing as hyperscalers and large cloud service providers expand their presence in India.
