Mystery of missing YouTuber who vanished after finding 'vibrating' cave near Area 51

A man mysteriously vanished after stumbling upon a "hidden cave" in the Nevada desert near the infamous Area 51.

People have always pondered upon the army's presence at the US military base there, with some alleging it has some sort of links with extraterrestrial life.

YouTuber Kenny Veach, 47, is thought to have found a secluded cave near the no-go area and has not been seen since, The Daily Star reports.

After locating the cave on YouTube in 2014, Veach asked his followers to retrace his steps as he looked deeper into the matter, but he was never heard from again after a third time in the cave.

Before that, he wrote on YouTube: "One time during one of my hikes out by Nellis Air Force Base, I found a hidden cave.

"The entrance to the cave was shaped like a perfect capital M. I always enter every cave I find, but as I began to enter this particular cave, my whole body began to vibrate."

He noted that the further in he went, the more he vibrated and after getting spooked, he ran away.

Setting out one final time on November 10, 2014, he headed back to the mysterious cave.

Someone wrote on his page at that time: "No! Do not go back there. If you find that cave entrance, don't go in, you won't get out."

Nobody knows where Veach is, despite his phone being found by the entrance of an abandoned mine shaft.

One user, claiming to be his girlfriend, alleged the YouTuber went out to end his life.

Sheryon Pilgrim claimed the 47-year-old did so after "battling depression for many years", discarding his phone so he couldn't be tracked down so easily.

She added: "He also did not take his video camera with him on this solo hike. It was left in his home. So, he had no intention of filming anything."
