'Mystery' deal sees Samsung TV, Xbox S, hot tub and 9ft swimming pool go for £14

Shoppers can be in the chance of getting a Samsung TV, Xbox S, hot tub or 9ft swimming pool and more for just £14 thanks to a new 'mystery' deal. Discount Experts has launched the new deal which could see shoppers walk away with a product worth £900 more.

This surprise element of shopping has become popular with those looking to save money on normally expensive items, as online retailers frequently offer lottery-style sales. Earlier this month Wowcher offered its mystery electronics deal that saw some shoppers walk away with an iPad, Galaxy S23 smartphone and an Amazon Echo Dot for £10.99.

Now deals site Discount Experts has launched its latest 'Mega Mystery Gift Deal' in the run-up to the Easter bank holiday weekend which starts from as little as £4.99 and includes prizes like a £449 Samsung TV, £999 hot tub and the £249 Xbox Series S depending on which tier consumers buy.

The prize items on offer are split depending on the tier price shoppers buy which is either 'bronze' for £4.99, 'silver' for £9.99 and 'gold' for £14.99 all with a completely different selection of items.

Last year we bought the a £21 Mystery Black Friday deal and walked away with a pair of wireless earphones worth around £100, an item worth £79 more than what we paid.

Reviewing the deal for the Manchester Evening News I said: "Having seen the growing interest surrounding the mystery boxes I decided to test it out, pushed by my inquisitiveness I wanted to see if shoppers really were getting a 'bargain of the century' or simply paying an extortionate price for a bit of tech you could get in the pound store.

"Moving onto the earphones themselves... I must admit I've been pleasantly surprised, I've only had wireless headphones before and never gone for the in-ear alternatives.

"For any shoppers out there looking for that extra bit of surprise in the sales, I think it's a fun product to consider. I also think it would be a great present for a couple or friends etc to do together."

There's no guarantee what product shoppers will receive but the different tiers help narrow down what customers will walk away with. The biggest 'gold tier' prizes include:

No matter the tier shoppers buy they are guaranteed to walk away with one of the prizes listed in that section but there's no guarantee as to what the product is.

For those who buy the £14.99 'gold tier' it could either be an ornamented mirror worth £24, a £16.95 slow cooker or a VR headset worth just under £400 (to name just a few). The 'sliver tier' costs £9.99 and includes the following prizes:

The full details of the items on offer including the £4.99 'bronze tier' prizes can be seen here. Shoppers who buy either tiers or both will need to pay up to £5.99 for delivery which is to the UK mainland only. Discount Experts say buyers must allow up to five working days for the product once the voucher has been confirmed.
