MySims is coming back and it will be available to people who own the Nintendo Switch with a new bundle that features revamped versions of Electronic Arts' MySims and MySims Kingdom.
The upcoming revival will bring back the classic simulation titles with Switch-optimized controls and updated textures.
MySims is a mix between The Sims and Animal Crossing and in the mainline game, players are tasked with rebuilding a run-down town by getting blueprints, constructing houses, and making furniture.
MySims Cozy Bundle Coming in November
Every single character has their own unique characteristics, such as the bug-loving Gertrude Spackle and Yuki, who frequently threaten to bite your character's face. MySims was launched on the Wii and Nintendo DS in 2007.
On the other hand, MySims Kingdom switches up the original title's gameplay by putting players inside a royal setting.
This particular sequel launched on the Wii and Nintendo DS in 2008. Since then, there have been several entries in the franchise, such as MySims Agents, MySims Party, MySims Racing, and MySims SkyHeroes, according to The Verge.
It has been a while since many players even touched a MySims game and some were hoping that Electronic Arts would put out a new entry in the series with refreshed stories and characters. However, the Switch ports could suggest that new games may come sometime in the future.
The last game in the series was released in 2010 and was MySims Skyheroes. The trailer for the two MySims games coming to the Nintendo Switch showed that there doesn't seem to be new content coming alongside the modern ports, said VG247.
Bringing the Franchise to the Nintendo Switch
The bundle will have players rediscovering the charm of the two classic MySims games included but on the Nintendo Switch. It would include two charming stories that players can immerse themselves in that tell the tales of creativity and discovery.
In MySims, players will help Mayor Rosalyn restore a town by rebuilding, beautifying, and attracting new residents to befriend.
On the other hand, MySims Kingdom will have players helping King Roland's kingdom thrive. You need to travel to islands with playful themes, meet unique characters, and solve various puzzles.
In the MySims games included in the bundle, players will be able to create adorable Sims and customize the worlds around them. You can also unlock clothes and build options as you complete different tasks.
The MySims Cozy Bundle for the Nintendo Switch will be launching on Nov. 19, 2024, and it is currently priced at $39.99 at the Nintendo Store. Players can also pre-order the bundle now if they want to secure their copy early, according to NintendoLife.
