Myles Turner has carved himself out a respectable start to his NBA career. He’s a solid and dependable big man for the Pacers, with a hard hat and lunch pail reputation. Two finishes as the league’s blocks leader (2019 and 2021) speak to how much of a talented throwback he is. Turner isn’t exactly known for being cool and flashy with a tunnel outfit.
And yet, Friday night saw the big man flash a little taste of his style before Indiana’s game with the Pistons. I don’t really know what it is, but it sure seems like it might have been in reference to, or somewhat influenced by Kyle Kuzma’s long sleeves earlier this season.
NBA Twitter could not get more ruthless about it with Turner.

Then again, upon reflection, Turner might be the kind of guy to have a little fun with his tunnel outfit here and now.
I mean, he did dress like Darth Vader and had his own stormtroopers once.
Myles Turner does not play around when it comes to Star Wars night. 😆

The sleeves were admittedly a little much, but so was putting on the get-up of a Star Wars character. But hey, no huge judgement for Turner here. Do what makes you happy. The Pistons would beat Turner’s Pacers, 111-106, but that’s not what’s important.
