Chelsea appear set to announce the signing of Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk on Sunday afternoon. The 22-year-old is due to join on a seven-year contract for a deal that is reportedly worth up to £88million when add-ons are included.
The Blues announced his signing this afternoon, with the side facing off against Crystal Palace in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge. Mudryk was also spotted in the crowd, with plenty of images showing off the fact he is watching his soon-to-be new side in action.
However, recent snaps have also potentially "leaked" the new squad number that the forward is about to receive once he joins the side. A picture from Twitter user Igor Tsyganyk has shown off this season's Chelsea shirt with Mudryk printed on the back along with the number 15.

He had also previously shown off a first look of Mudryk wearing a Chelsea shirt in what appeared to be his first photoshoot or media showing. The whole transfer saga caps off a manic few months, weeks and days surrounding the forward, who has seen his stock rise exponentially.
Arsenal missed out on a move in the summer and since lodged three bids to secure a deal, but all of those were rejected by Shakhtar. They may regret being slow in their dealings as the Blues moved quickly on Saturday night, ensuring a deal could be struck with the club and the player.
He was then flown to London, where a medical and contract signing took place, confirming that he will be playing in blue and not red for the future.
