Mykhaylo Mudryk has been rated as one of the best wingers in Europe as Shakhtar sporting director Darijo Srna puts him up there with Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior.
Mudryk has been one of the stars of their impressive start to the Champions League with two goals and two assists - including his strike against Celtic in Warsaw. Just 21, he's one of Ukrainian football's shining lights with some of the best teams in the world already sniffing around him.
Srna, who racked up over 100 caps for Croatia, is currently sporting director at Shakhtar and he revealed they have booted out a €30million (£27m) bid for the star who started the 3-0 defeat to Scotland at Hampden. And he's not surprised at the interest as he reckons Mudryk is one of the best wingers on the planet - even comparing him to firing PSG forward Mbappe.
He said: "We received an offer of 30 million euros. When our president does not sell a player for 30 million euros, especially in these difficult times, he sends a message to everyone that he wants us to progress in the Champions League and win the league.
"Mudryk is a real talent. After Kylian Mbappé and Vinicius Junior, he is the best player in Europe in his position. If someone wants to buy Mudryk, they have to spend a lot, a lot of money and respect our club and our president."
