Callum Hudson-Odoi looks set to be the first Chelsea player to fall victim to the arrival of Mykhailo Mudryk. The Cobham graduate faces an increasingly uncertain future at Stamford Bridge as he enters the final 18 months of his contract.
While on loan at Bayer Levekusen this season, he's featured 15 times for the German outfit and directly contributed towards just two goals. Hudson-Odoi has struggled to impress in the Bundesliga, with opportunities hard to come by.
And, the 22-year-old appears to have fallen further down the pecking order following the signing of Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk this month. Graham Potter already has a wealth of attacking talent at his disposal with the likes of Raheem Sterling, Christian Pulisic and, eventually, Christopher Nkunku all standing Hudson-Odoi's way.

With the prospect of a place in the Chelsea starting lineup looking increasingly unlikely, it's said that the winger will begin to consider his options. According to The Athletic, Hudson-Odoi will make a decision on his future upon his return from Leverkusen in the summer.
The report states that an exit could hinge on whether Joao Felix is signed permanently following his loan from Atletico Madrid. It's believed that there isn't an option-to-buy in the 23-year-old's deal, though he did incredibly impress on his shortlived debut.
Not to mention that Mudryk, who will almost certainly be Chelsea's new poster-boy, has penned a staggering eight-and-a-half-year contract at Chelsea. And, the early signs show that Graham Potter is keen to enjoy great success with the Ukraine international.
"You're never surprised in the transfer window," the Blues boss told reporters after the win against Crystal Palace. "Things happen when you don't expect them to happen.
"He's a player with a big future, one vs one he's very direct, he attacks the back-line. I think our supporters will really like him."
Then, when pressed on the length of his contract, Potter added: "I'm the head coach, so thankfully, I have enough to worry about, I'll leave contract lengths to the club. I'm looking forward to working with him. If I'm here for the remainder of his contract, then we'll all be happy."
