Grimsby’s high-growth green tech company Myenergi is supercharging its presence in its fastest-growing international market.
A new wholly-owned subsidiary has been set up in Germany, with a new management team in place to respond to the anticipated huge demand for electric vehicle infrastructure and home energy management systems.
It comes with the country having been significantly hit by the Russian invasion of Ukraine straining gas availability, leading it to rapidly address its energy base. Germany has exported cars to the UK via Grimsby for decades, with market-leading manufacturer Volkswagen Group offloading below the Dock Tower as its primary entry point to the British market - with its first EV brought in via the dedicated terminal there.
