According to Brobible, the incident happened during a live stream on KICK, where Vitaly’s decoy failed to tell Mr. Singhania she was underage. This led him to believe he was meeting an adult woman, which resulted in the false accusation. The consequences for Mr. Singhania were immediate and serious.
Vitaly, whose full name is Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, quickly issued a public apology. “My team and I mistakenly portrayed Akash Singhania as a child predator. This was a mistake that I deeply regret. He never intended to meet a minor and has been cleared of all wrongdoing,” he said. He confirmed he has removed the video from all his accounts and asked viewers to stop trying to contact Mr. Singhania.

Despite Vitaly’s apology, Mr. Singhania made clear that the damage had already been done. “While I appreciate that the mistake has been acknowledged, the impact of the false accusation has been significant. I have experienced harassment, judgment, and damage to my personal and professional relationships based on something that has now been proven false,” he said.

According to Complex, his arrest followed a controversial livestream in the Philippines where he harassed locals, including a traffic officer, appeared to steal a patrol motorcycle, and played pranks on security guards.
