A mum says her little girl is obsessed with a demonic doll which has red glowing eyes and an evil laugh which terrifies her friends.
Brittany Beard, 33, bought the doll - known by the family as Creepy Chloe - for her three-year-old daughter last month.
Despite its alarming appearance, little Briar loves the doll and insists on taking it to bed every night and dressing her as a princess.
Mum of two Brittany says her little girl gets funny looks from strangers when they see her daughter carrying the doll, and some children are frightened when they walk past.
She said: “When we were in the store, Briar fell in love with this doll and she begged me to buy it for her.
"At the same time, my eight-year-old daughter, Belle, was crying because she was terrified of it.
"My husband had to distract Belle while I bought Briar the doll because she was freaking out so much.
"She named the doll Chloe and now we refer to it as Creepy Chloe - for obvious reasons.
"I shared photos of Briar with the doll on Facebook and my post went viral - no one could believe that she wasn't frightened by it.
"Briar treats Chloe like any normal doll, dressing it in princess dresses and pushing it in a buggy when we go out shopping.”
She added when the family leaves the house with Creepy Chloe people out in the street give her “a wide berth” when out and about.
Brittany said: “Some people stop and stare and other kids give the doll a really wide berth - I feel like I have to stop and explain to everyone why she has it.
"But the truth is, I'm just as confused as anyone, because I love the fun, cute side of Halloween - I don't know where she gets it from."
The doll and her little girl star in their own Instagram page known as Cheepy Chloe and Briar.
Concerningly, in one post the mother joked: “Creepy Chloe might be stealing my soul while I sleep but we are making the best of our time left over here.
“Briar: (out of nowhere) “She is.”
Another post added: “While I might not be Creepy Chloe’s biggest fan, that doesn’t mean I can’t respect Briar’s choice to love her.
“Briar sees Chloe’s imperfections as beautiful and I love her for that.”
