The long-standing alleged hostility between the two former teammates seemed to dissolve as they demonstrated mutual respect and camaraderie.

Kohli, the face of Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and Gambhir, mentor the Kolkata Knight Riders, showed that their past differences were behind them.
