'My neighbour parks so close to my front door it's a struggle to leave the house'

If you live on a busy street, it is not uncommon to see lots of cars squeezed into a small space. But one homeowner has slammed their neighbour for taking things to the extreme after parking right outside their front door. The problem? The homeowner says their neighbour parks so close to their doorway that it is a struggle to leave the house.

Infuriated, the resident took to the internet to share a photo of the poor parking, taken from inside their home. In the snap, it appears the neighbour has parked on a shared driveway, leaving enough space for one person to get past.

However, it would likely be a tight squeeze for anyone with a bike, pram, mobility scooter or the like.

"This is how our dentist neighbours park. Struggled to get outside without kicking his car but made it," read the title of the post, shared to Reddit's mildlyinfuriating forum. Annoyed, the post's writer added: "Next time I won’t be that gentle."

However, not everyone agreed the complaint was fair, and the post proved to be divisive in the comment section.

On the one hand, several people shared the resident's anger. "I’d accidentally fall into it," read one reply.

Another suggested: "Leave a note, if it still happens then take a run up in your hall and start rolling over the bonnet."

And a third person, who also took the homeowner's side, said: "Usually i would say get it towed but are you even allowed to do that here?"

But someone else thought: "There seems to be plenty of room to get by, just not comfortably."

A different commenter said: "Get a bus through there to be fair."

And another response read: "You struggled to get through that 3 foot walking space?"

"Have you ever heard of a sidestep? They are quite useful in 'tight' spaces," they advised.
