'My neighbour parks his car in the middle of the street - blocking 9 driveways'

Parking disputes can be common among neighbours, especially if you have to resort to parking on the roadside. People will often want to park in front of their own house, but that's not always possible if someone is blocking the way.

One man has said his neighbour takes the prize for worst parking job - because he parks his BMW in the middle of the road, meaning that not only does it make it difficult for cars to drive past him, but he blocks a total of nine houses from accessing their driveways.

The man explained his neighbour has been parking like that for some time because he doesn't have enough room on his driveway for all his cars, but the issue reached a dramatic conclusion when the police were called to tow the man's car away.

In a post on Reddit, the man shared a picture of the towing scene and wrote: "My neighbours park here everyday blocking the entrances to nine other houses driveways, today it gets towed."

And in the comments, he explained that he was enjoying watching the drama unfold and listening to his neighbour "whine" to the police about taking his car.

He said: "I was on my comfy chair listening to him whine about how they couldn't take it, and the police said they could. I love it here now.

"The issue is they have about five cars and only enough space for two. They ignore that we live near a car park because it's too inconvenient for them."

Commenters on the post were left baffled by the picture of the parking job, as some even questioned whether the car had been moved in order to prepare for being towed - but the poster insisted the image was taken before any movement occurred, and the car really was just "parked" in the middle of the road.

One person said: "I hate when people do this. Where we used to live there was a woman who would insist on parking behind our designated parking space once a week if it was raining while she waited to collect her kid from music lessons.

"Not in the space, but behind it. Eventually, I got fed up with asking her to move and just parked up behind her and went inside. She didn't do it again after that."

While another added: "Am I looking at the black BMW? Surely he doesn't just leave it there in the middle of the road?"

And a third wrote: "Never underestimate how f***ing selfish and stupid people can be."
