I’m from west London, and right now I live in Golders Green. Best meal you’ve had? I couldn’t tell you the best but I could tell you one of them: my boy Ali is from Iran and his mum makes this thing called havij polo, which is carrot rice, an Iranian dish. It’s one of the most amazing things I’ve ever had and I used to have it when I’d go to his house for lunch.
