A woman has told how arguments with her husband about money and bills led to an affair - with her lover now paying her thousands to help with her monthly mortgage payments. Julia*, 37, from Dorset, has been married to her husband, 40, for just over a decade.
But amid the cost of living crisis with soaring interest rates, their relationship has been put under an unbearable strain, she argues, with arguments breaking out every night over how they can afford to keep a roof over their heads. Julia* turned to an infidelity website to escape from everyday pressures, and after seeing the stress she was under, her lover offered to help front some costs.
So far her new partner, 37, who has a 'successful' job, has paid £2,500 towards their mortgage. And although the mum-of-three feels guilty for going behind her husband's back, she says it has helped relieve a lot of stress.
