Fresh from their first shows on these shores in 11 years, My Chemical Romance will head to the north west for their hugely-anticipated gig at Warrington's Victoria Park on Friday night. The American rockers, reunited and reinvigorated, play here following their sell out shows in Milton Keynes and this week Dublin which have won rave reviews from critics and fans alike.
What had been announced as a one-off reunion for the Emo rockers back in 2019 garnered so much interest from fans that it was swiftly extended to a world tour of performances that finally, post-lockdown, now get to take place. And most fortuitously for fans up north, the Warrington show was a surprise addition, announced in December to much excitement from fans.
The Black Parade stars will take to the stage in Warrington's Victoria Park on Friday night, which will then play host to the Neighbourhood Weekender festival on the Saturday and Sunday. So we can expect Warrington to be the centre of the music scene for this final weekend of May 2022.
