Muzaffarnagar communal riots: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath comes in open support of disqualified BJP MLA Vikram Saini

LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday came out in open support of the disqualified BJP MLA Vikram Saini saying that he "fell victim to SP's conspiracy" as he stood to "protect Muzaffarnagar's dignity".

Saini lost his membership from UP assembly after a local MP/MLA court convicted him for his alleged involvement in the 2013 Muzaffarnagar communal riots. Only a week ago, the Allahabad high court also turned down Saini's plea to suspend his conviction.
