MUMBAI: Oliver Kahn deeply felt the agony of losing a UEFA Champions League final which looked won when Bayern Munich succumbed to two stunning injury-time goals against Manchester United in 1999.

In an interaction with TOI during his brief visit to Mumbai as part of the Pro10 initiative, the German goalkeeping great described that dramatic defeat at Camp Nou 24 years ago as the “most challenging” setback he had to overcome in a career which yielded plenty of success.
