Muslim women politicians speak out over rising Islamophobia in Scotland

MUSLIM women in Scotland are increasingly worried about the rise of Islamophobia. Racism and anti-Muslim rhetoric are spreading fast and threatening social cohesion.

These sentiments are not new but, unfortunately, they are becoming more overt and surfacing across all aspects of public life. This is undoubtedly a time of challenge and controversy.
