Elon Musk is facing backlash after reposting a tweet that suggested Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and Mao Zedong were not directly responsible for the deaths of millions, instead blaming "public sector workers" for the atrocities committed under their regimes.

Musk shared a post from an account called @TheAliceSmith, which stated: "Stalin, Mao, and Hitler didn't murder millions of people. Their public sector workers did."
