Music-lovers soak in rain and atmosphere at 1980s-inspired Rewind Festival at Scone Palace

Thousands of muddied music-lovers revelled in the nostalgia trip of a lifetime at 1980s-inspired Rewind Festival at Scone Palace.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the throwback extravaganza made its long-awaited return over the weekend after a three-year absence due to COVID-19.

Taking place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, partygoers were treated to major acts such as Billy Ocean, Heaven 17 and Nik Kershaw.

Saturday was headlined by Holly Johnson of Frankie Goes to Hollywood and Sunday’s big name was Wet Wet Wet.

Moving about the site with impressive style on Friday were a stilt walker and fire breather in the shape of Verity Power Entertainments.

With her gigantic LED wings and impressively high stilts Verity was more than happy to join punters for a selfie.

Attendees also enjoyed silent discos, a funfair, a kids’ zone, and camping over the three-day event.

Scone Palace will also host a brand new music and arts festival, Otherlands, next month.
