Shoppers have slammed a 'messed up' Valentine's Day advert after a retailer shared a disturbing image of a sausage.
Online food retailer MuscleFood.com posted an image of its budget-friendly Love Sausage on Instagram, which included three people squeezing the cheese-filled sausage over a bathtub.
In the clip, there are three different hands clasped around the two-foot long, 400g pork sausage, which has the smoked cheddar insides spilling out, making quite the mess.

The now-viral video has already amassed thousands of views - but it’s left some people feeling 'grossed out', reports MEN.
One person wrote: “who is running this page?” while another added: “Who thought this was a good idea? Someone messed up.”
While others said: “That’s just gross” and ‘This is absolutely horrendous, by the way.”
Some followers did see the funny side, with many sharing laughing emojis.
During another video, a butcher is seen spinning a sausage, with the words: "everything reminds me of him'. At the end of the short clip, the camera zooms in on a circle sausage with a white sauce positioned disturbingly at its end.
