No arrests have been made yet after a man was found dead in his flat in Heywood, police have confirmed.
Geoffrey Ives' body was found on Hardfield Street on Sunday (January 29) following a 'concern for welfare' call the same day. A murder probe was launched a week later, on February 5, after detectives established that his death 'could be suspicious'.
Police today said that no arrests had been yet in connection with the incident. Detectives are continuing to appeal for information from the public.
