A murder investigation has been launched after a teenager was stabbed to death in north London.
The 19-year-old was attacked in Whitchurch Lane, Edgware about 1am on Friday.
Police were called to reports of a man suffering a stab injury.
Officers, paramedics and London’s Air Ambulance attended but despite the best efforts of the emergency services, he died at the scene.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “His next of kin have been informed and a crime scene remains in place.”
Detectives said there had been no arrests and enquiries into the circumstances continue.
