A 33-year-old woman convict, who was serving her prison term at Mysuru jail, died at K.R. Hospital in Mysuru on Saturday.
The convict Radha was rushed to the hospital after she reportedly collapsed in the jail. She was later taken to Jayadeva Institute of Cardiology for a cardiac evaluation and sent back to K.R. Hospital.
Radha, who hails from Hassan, was arrested in connection with a murder in 2015. She had been serving her prison term in Mysuru since 2017.
